Moots is HOTTT... Are those non-vintage chainrings?
I might take off those yellow tires one of these days, but I think it looks pretty cool. |
I'm always amazed how much conversation that Centurion creates... after all these years... not bad! As an FYI... the stem is an EA70, but I couldn't find something the same period as the stem (that replaced an original Sugino alloy) so it is 2013 black with grey fade lettering.

I generally don't care for aero frames, but that Litespeed just looks fast! I give it a hot. |

Pretty hot, but one demerit for those handlebars. Not a fan of the shape.
Also, another classic wrecked by ugly wheels, they aren't as ugly as the ones on the Centurion, though. |

Both. I don't like where my hands are relative to the brake levers when I'm in the drops, compared to a traditional bend bar.

^he said wheels, not tires...
As to the vintage Trek, not hot in my vote. Nice try but somehow it doesn't all work as well as the Centurion. Seat post is strange, photo is taken too low, bottle cages are clunky looking, bars are not attractively shaped, sorry it's a Not for me. |

Yeah I'm not sure I like them either. I think a compact dropbar might be in my future since I've never tried one of those. finding them in vintage sizes is tough though.

litespeed HoT! the trek is almost there. aluminum, er silver colored that is, wheels, stem, seatpost would showcase the classic lines mch better methinks.

There isn't anything tough about it. Soma sells them all day long.

Funny you say that, I just stumbled across the Hwy One today as a matter of fact. Very nice. A little pricey but nice shapes.

Pricy? They are half of what a lot of other bars cost. They are a little heavy, but finished very nicely for the price.
