This is the most opinionated thread in all of BF, dont take things too personal. There's a certain standard bikes must meet to be considered "Hot" by most in this thread.
Like I said your bike is Hot in my eyes, because its different.
It catches my eye, & probably would more in person .
"We can't win then all..."
I love my bikes, but none of them are "Hot in hurr".
I built them they way I wanted them, & they fit my needs.

Now I'm looking at buying new bars! I wasn't REALLY thinking about it until I saw your bars again. I like that shape a lot. Looks like plenty of clearance from your forearms hitting the top tube while in the drops.
How do you like the shape of the FSA vs the ergo shape you have on your november bike? I have Ritchey superlogic Evolution bars with an ergo drop and I have liked them, but I'm not extremely fond of the shape aesthetically.

For me the compact bend works better, especially for crits where I spend an hour or so at a time in the drops. Since I broke the Guru I moved the compact bars over to the November. They are a bit heavier, but the improved fit (slightly shorter reach brought the November fit closer to my "ideal") is nice.

good to know. Thanks for the info. I am about to pull the trigger on an FSA Nano light compact UD set. They are supposed to weigh in at 185g for 42mm bars. Thats lighter than my ritchey bars.

Lol, I haven't pulled a trigger on anything yet. Wont do an FSA stem or seatpost. Too heavy. IF, I do the FSA bars, it will be very difficult for me to have mismatched equiptment. Unfortunately, Ritchey doesn't make a bar that has the short and shallow compact bar that FSA or Zipp makes and this is the shape of bar that I'm looking for.

thanks for finding and sharing those. though the shape is similar, it is not as close to what I'm looking for. AND, the big no go on those is 253g. whatever bar I go with, I will stay sub 200g. the claimed weight on the FSA Nano light bar is 185g for 42cm bars

2013 Wilier Gran Turismo
Pretty bike to start with... hope I didn't ruin it by making some changes to the wheels, the cables, the brakes, the seat/seat post, the chain rings, and the bars.
(no white garage door, but the pictures are framed so I hope that balances out...)

Never been a fan of the "Hell Bent" post, would rather see a post with off set if that helps solve a fit issue. The bike speaks SRAM but I see a Shimano crank. Would look much nicer with a SRAM crank. Straight forks also bug me and the bars look too "old skool". My guess is the front end is a bit sketchy in corners? All this from a die-hard C'dale owner too.

Also I prefer classic bend bars so I guess that theyre gonna stay - altough I have used ergonovas before and like the feel so maybe ill swap some on just to try something different again

Yes, over 200g, but they do make the shape.
BTW, have you tried the FSA compact shape? I find it a bit too compact, I don't feel like my back angle even changes when moving from hoods to drops. My 3T Ergosum have just a few mm more reach and drop but the difference between the various positions feels much more pronounced. Not to say thay FSA ergo shape is bad, but I think it would be a good idea to try and compare to other manufacturers' compact bars.

What I mean by not same shape, is they are not as compact. Yes I know ritchey makes a non ergo bar available bit I don't like the shape. Thanks for the info. I will be looking into the 3T option as well as I have an offer for a straight trade for one.

I think the Wilier brand is in general kind of hottish...although for some reason the mental image of a hooker tarted up for a night's work comes to mind (for me)...
