Hooooooooooottttttt.

Just dropped some cash tonight on aesthetically pleasing parts (to me) to add subtle color to my murdered out podium. I'm excited to throw them on and post up new pictures of it when I get home.

Hate that bike, I finally took it out of stock configuration and frankly I've grown to like it more than my new bike now and I ride it just as much and some weeks more. Should have gotten rid of it when I got a case of the "new and shiny's" over the Altamira and bought it and went wild with it.

First time reading the road bike forum here after looking for info. Guess I'll play with a shot from after a morning ride today...

Soma Hwy One - 130 drop, 75 reach. I like them a lot. Will be going on every keeper I get from here on out.

Can't take credit for the build as it was built up by two BFers, but a quick recap if anyone cares.

Campagnolo Centaur, Century Finish group. (10 speed)
Campagnolo Neutron wheelset. Veloflex rubber.
Regal saddle.
Look Keo2 Max.
Campagnolo post and headset (not positive but believe they're Record)
Cinelli xa stem.

growlerdinky 07-27-15 04:28 PM

Thanks. Ive been thinking about swapping my Nitto Noodles out for the Somas, but was concerned about the aesthetics of a compact drop bar on a lugged steel frame. Seeing how beautiful your bike turned out has encouraged me to pull the trigger.

Quite possibly the best looking Ultegra group Shimano ever did IMHO. Sweet ride!

How do you like those Time pedals? But one bottle cage? Nice build.

Thanks for the positive comments! bit of a relief! I am really happy with it!

The pedals are Look Keo Carbon Blades and thus far have been really good - maybe some doubts over the durability of the bearings. Only one cage because currently distances on this only require one - i think it looks clean too.

"Not! Your stainless faucet doesn't match your wineglass rack under the cabinet or the knobs on the doors. Did you even read the first 56 pages of this thread? Plus, what's up with the retro backsplash/modern dishwasher? GTFO."
