Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What is the blue bike? The logo isn't ringing a bell/I can't read it. The paint is rad- does it always look that way or did you just find a magic camera/light angle? Also, you did a petty good job matching up the cockpit parts and bottle cages.

Thanks. It's a specialized allez smart weld, I don't like the look of billboard bikes so I made the logos small. Lighting helps for sure but that photo is just a cellphone pic after a 90 mile ride.

Great lines and what could have been a great color scheme ruined by the cluster**** of lettering and logos wrapping around all the tubs this way and that. Also camo bar tape is barf.

Uh, sorry, been a long day, and having a pretty killer cold does not help. Ugh. That is a killer bike. I have never heard of a smartweld version though.

Thanks. It's a 2015 Allez Race, it was flat black and white like every other bike now and days.

Well the paint job really sets it off. Out of curiousity what would the 2016 version be, as there is not "Race" version? Allez DSW SL Expert?

Surely you're out for a gravel ride as two bottles on a CX bike is reprehensible.

ROFL, it's so ugly. Both the saddle and the stem have a spare chromosome or two. This was from a terrible era where the head-tube was almost the same diameter as the chain stays. Kill it with fire.

Yes, i know about the "one cage on the seat tube" rule for CX racers, but I bought it as a foul weather bike and i'm waiting for the back ordered 32mm tubeless tires to arrive and i'll remove the 35 knobby. I've already done a 60 mile ride on it and needed the second cage.

Those mini-handlebars look like they came off a kids bike.

Odd the way the top tube slopes down to the head tube.
