First "COMPETITIVE" ride!!!!
Did a run in Arcadia CA to Montebello CA!
A full 30 mile round trip
Burnt my two buddies (BOTH ARE NEWBIES to the sport too!!!)
So it's really a rag tag group that we ran yesterday-but we had so much fun.
It was majority flats but there were quite a few MEMORABLE hill climbs which kicked my ass!! My last 1.5 miles was HELL though since this has been my longest ride yet, it felt like I just hit a WALL!!!! I was struggling to the finish, but managed a 16 mph pace!!!
Which I know isn't a lot but I'm pretty damn proud of it =) My goal would be to make it to a 18-19 mph pace by the end of the year
