Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

"Irregardless" isn't a word, and if it was, it would have the opposite meaning of "regardless".

So stupid people who use this dumbass non-word are using it wrong, anyway.

Not for nothing, but where does the phrase 'not for nothing' come from? And what does it mean? Not for nothing, I don't care, I LIKE it.

I think we're all playing fast and loose with the rules on purpose for the thread, though. Sorry to break the spell and F it up...just felt the need to excavate the irony momentarily.

One of my pet peeves is the phrase "I could care less," which means you do care some, whereas what is meant is expressed by "I couldn't care less," i.e., I care the least amount possible. But it's nearly impossible to convince people who use "I could care less" that they are saying the opposite of what they mean.
