The S3 on Cervelo's site looks great. The color scheme they show it with on the site makes it look like it should be parked outside a day care center.

Yeah, it's based on this lame white background and different-colored circles...

Any sense on whether that scheme is just a one-off for the Oympics and Cancellara, or is will that be a production option?

I think their bikes are far more alluring without the logos shot-gunned everywhere.

I like companies that design and manufacture their own stuff.

I met the guy that did the carbon layup on my frame at the factory. He's an employee of the company whose name is on the downtube.

I like that.

Same with Zipp. I can run down there and talk to the guys that make the wheels. They design and manufacture their own goods. To me, that gives them a step up on the competition.

Your mileage may vary.

Heck even the Specialized manufacturer, Merida, has ownership in the mother ship.

You're such a friggin know-it-all. At least you DO actually know something. So you get points for that. But on BF that makes you an anomaly.

But keep that bike industry info coming, it's good to have some facts to offset the rampant BF bull****.

Sorry pcad. That cervelo sure is a good bike. Nice choice. Untill you change your mind in a couple of weeks. I'll tell you what. Forget about the new bike. You dont need it. Buy something for your dog.

Why would I ever wait so long to change my mind and blog about it here?

Silly bike weenie.

Naterider 08-17-08 02:42 PM

You're not that fickle. Seriously, I enjoy all the pointless threads but stick with that titanium bike. They make those for old people like you.
