Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Whatever - All I was looking for were people's opinions of which BF member has the best looking team kit (sans Brandy who wins hands down).
I stand my my initial post that Sub's Cliff Bar kit stands out above all others.

And no, for personal reasons I wouldn't wear another "local" team kit, but I have seen some pretty cool kits when out in the Bay Area and in a couple of the shops in Austin, and yes, I would wear some of them regardless if other's think it's "gay" or not.
CSC kits are FRED

I don't wear team kits because I don't race, but I'm not bothered by those who don't race and choose to wear them since it is just clothing afterall so it doesn't matter. I was tempted to get the Caisse D'Epargne kit because it matches my bike, but Capoforma's CSS M1 kit won out. I don't follow racing teams so I don't want to wear gear for teams I don't make the effort to support.

What good is this without a picture, BJ? . . . . I'm still waiting for a picture.

Why should we search thru another thread or, heavens forbid, go out on the internet?

It's in his avatar, search out a post by substructure and you'll see it (unless he's recently changed it). But for you I'll search the racing forum to see if I can find a picture.
Does this make me "gay", seaching for a photo of another guy?

Not as gay as the guy telling you to check it out.

Looking for the forementioned Cliff Bar kit, while searching though the "suffering" post in Road Racing forum I realized UT_Dude's UT kit is a close 2nd. Go "Horns"!

Somewhere on page 35 are a couple pictures of Sub's kit.

Correct me if I am wrong, (as I am sure someone will) but don't UCI rules require licensed racers to wear a team kit when you are on training rides - even in the amateur ranks? I think I read something like that in the forms I filled out.

Not if you're unattached
What constitutes a "training ride"? Lots of CAT3s on our local group ride don't wear their team kits.

No more available.

Good thing I'm on the team. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay. But I'm not. Despite the leg shaving threads

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most people end up somewhat partial to their own kits, anyways. My Texas one is still my favorite, though. I like the fact that the primary focus of the collegiate kits is the college, and not the name of the local sponsor.

I don't believe that UCI rules apply to the amateur ranks, except for international competition.

Unless you are engaging in man love, calling something gay is homophobic.

EDIT: Let's change that... calling something gay in a derogatory fashion is homophobic.

I can call my gay friends gay without being homophobic.

Calling a man gay even in a derogatory way is not homophobic. I call my brother gay all the time. He's clearly not - well as far as I can tell. He's married, has two kids. He could be in the closet.

Obviously I'm going to be partial to my team's kit (plus it's patriotic; red, white, and blue!)

Besides that, the ABD/Geargrinders kit definitely gets my vote, plus they all have matching LeMonds.
