Speedplay Zero... is that normal?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

adjustable float on Zeros made it easy on me. I never had problems you had.

Cheers!

Called Speedplay today. Yes, they seem to be very nice people and eager to help. I described the installation and they said everything seems to be in order from what I told them. They checked the shoe model (Chainlove special, the Northwave Aerator V3 Boonen) and it appears they are compatible with the cleats. They told me lubricating is definitely a good idea, and encouraged me to give myself a few days to get use to them. So, that's what I will do and see what happens.

I didn't realize I had to lubricate my Speedplay Zero pedals, so thanks for the tip!
