i rode with landis today
I got a chance to ride with Floyd Landis today ,he rolls up drinking a rock star drink and no helmet i was thinking to myself we are in trouble but things roll out nice a gentle ,we then picked up the pace when one of the locals had to flex and try to impress Floyd needless to say he wasn't impressed . then we get to the first climb , while Floyd was climbing he was checking his text messages this was a 4 mile climb at 8% so its not just a bump in the rd. when we get to the top we stop at a store to regroup and take a cpl of pics ,then we descended and the pace was fast and furious but really fun , we had like 20 riders to start with but some had things to do so bailed before things got hot ,i have to say that Floyd seems like a really cool guy ,he would ride up next to a rider and start talking just like he was part of the local group .it was fun and i really don't care if he doped or not .

I always liked the guy and TESTOSTERONE doesn't explain what he accomplished that day. He got robbed.

Nice, I wouldn't mind riding with Flandis; not that I condone doping but lets not tout them like they're the second child of satan. Its something the whole peloton did, he got caught.
He seems cool irl and is from nearby so someday I should get my chance.
I think out of all the pros I'd like to run with dz and levi would be my top picks.

Oh, and that thing he did on the tdf was easily the most memorable cycling moment I've seen. I put it right behind 'The Catch' and 'The Play'.

While it'll never be proven beyond what's already been done, the fact that everyone can agree that there's no normal physiologic condition under which you could reach that T:E ratio, and the slew of different stories he threw out there after the findings went public, it certainly doesn't help his story.
Even off the juice he's an infinitely better cyclist than I could ever pray to be, and I watched that stage and admired his performance hoping it was clean, but sometimes things really are too good to be true.

The catch wasn't that great btw. If you want to refer to something as ' the catch' it should be Mays over the head thing. Just my opinion, I mean I understand the circumstances of the Clark thing.

BTW, I also think he's a nice guy but as mentioned before many many pros were doing it and he was somewhat unlucky to get caught. Perhaps it was a mix up with bolld etc as DrPete suggested but still....

I had no idea how expensive stuff is in the medical field. Recently I had a standard health check procedure done and I was astounded to learn the hospital billed $2400 or so for it. I paid for $250, insurance the rest.
As far as Floyd goes, personally I'm one of those star stuck kind of people. I have a hard time remembering anything negative about people when I meet them. The exception is if they did something memorably negative to me personally, then it's easier to remember such things, but no one famous has done anything like that to lil ole me. Anyway I cheered loudly for Tyler at a race, and I consider the two in the same genre.

epitestosterone (E) is the precursor to testosterone (T). In most males the ratio is 1:1. Floyds T/E ratio was ~11/1 suggesting the took testosterone from an external source! although I think his natural T levels are high or his E levels low...yada yada...
this might help

1. The "positive" tests ("A" sample and "B" sample) were false positives due to improper procedure or deliberate sabotage or:
2. He was doping and using masking substances that the tests failed to detect and forgot or mishandled the masking substance that day.
In either case, the testing protocol failed and can't be trusted. The Amaury Sport Organization, (which organizes the TDF) can say what they want, but I believe in "innocent before proven guilty".

He tested "clean" the day before and the day after. There's no physiological way testosterone levels can vary that much that fast from day to day. Either:
1. The "positive" tests ("A" sample and "B" sample) were false positives due to improper procedure or deliberate sabotage or:
2. He was doping and using masking substances that the tests failed to detect and forgot or mishandled the masking substance that day.
