Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Opinion on Parentini Basic jersey

Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a jersey for a good price, and noticed the parentini basic jersey is available at Nashbar for $30. Just wondering if it is of decent quality. I'm not looking for the best jersey in the world, just a solid training jersey. I would rather pick up the Pearl Izumi Podium jersey for the same price, but it is only available in small. I have to go measure myself to see if I would fit into the small size. I wear a medium t-shirt rather loosely. Thanks for any hellp.

With jerseys, you can be comfortable in a $30 one. It's not like bibs where there is a huge difference with a $100 pair vs a $30 pair. I have a $100 jersey (I got for 1/2 price though) and a $40 one and I really can't tell the difference between them. As long as the jersey fits the way you want it to, you are fine with a $30 one.

ok, that's what i figured. I just got my first pair of bibs and I love them, would have ordered another pair but they were a clearance deal (70+% off), and nashbar didn't have anymore. Trying to add a good deal on a jersey too. I'll measure myself later so I have a better idea of what will fit.
