Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is Testrider.com biased or not?

check this out: https://www.testrider.com/fly.aspx?la...layer&video=25

Seems like SRAM can't do anything wrong on this rider reviews...any chance its biased? Looks objective but nowadays take everything with a grain of salt.

It sounds like a typical review. X is good, Y is bad, we'd like for W to be more like Z.

Remember: All reviews are biased. That's just human nature. Your best bet is compare a bunch of them and look for consistency amongst the positive and negative points.

I don't think it's biased. a) SRAM is really good. b) SRAM is getting really popular in this area (I'm in Santa Barbara and testrider.com is based out of Santa Ynez. The biggest complain I've heard about SRAM is that it's noisy and he mentions that. Note that he does long term tests, not just try for 5 minute shills for the manufacturers...
