Jeopardy
Tonight on Jeopardy they had a category about bicycle racing. While I cleaned the category, the contestants only got two right.
The questions (I don't remember the answers but I remember the answers, so they aren't exact).
1 - Identify a pro cyclist who had cancer
2 - Figure out what type of material high end bikes are made of
3 - Name the type of bike that requires the cranks to turn whenever the wheel does
4 - Something about stiffness
5 - Name the banked track that racers ride on

Was #2 titanium or carbon fiber?
In a couple days it'll be on this site https://www.j-archive.com/showseason.php?season=25
Every question (answer?) ever. I just googled it, never been there before. Kinda cool though.

Damn, I was going to post this same topic myself.... It was the first time I got all the questions for a particular topic correct. My father in law was BS because I finally kicked his ass.
On that topic anyway.
He still gets me on Russian Literature everytime!

#3, I felt the same way.... everyone knows after watching the video of Lance riding with the fixie hooligans that the answer was "What is a fixie Alex"

If you are not Russian there is no reason to know anything about Russian Literature. Even if you are it is debateable. Ugh.

Was tonight's show filmed from the Trek factory? I missed the beginning of it, but I came out when they were holding up the raw OCLV frame. Looked like a factory.... Does this mean Trek really does make thier own CF frames?

As much as the show itself has turned into a practical joke in terms of the amount of academia put towards most of their present questions, such a category absolutely screamed "big plug for Trek."
Trek are smart advertisers. Too bad that they still (far as I'm concerned, I was never impressed with most of their '70s and '80s line back during the steel glory years either) deliver a marginal product.
