Flite gel flow vs. SLR gel flow
What are the main differences? They both appear to have the same dimensions and shape (where you sit). I am coming from an Arione. It is great I am just looking for something with a little little bit more padding and less perenium pressure. Any recomendations? Thanks

SLR's are flatter on top. Flites are much more rounded.

Before I bought my SLR Gel Flow saddles, I tried the Flite and for me it was a ***** spreader. It felt like it was pushing my sitbones apart. SLR Gel Flow is much flatter as BT said. Fabulous saddle.
I have an Arione on my Vortex and it does give taint pressure but not too bothersome.

Thanks. It is hard to tell from the photo's online.
Having tried the Arione and SLR gel flow does the SLR relieve some of the perinium pressure. Like you said, for me it is not really bothersome, but if I can relieve a little more it would be great.
I think I may really just try out the Competitive Cyclist saddle demo program. I can try out a whole bunch of saddles and if you buy a new saddle from them after then demo you get some sort of reimbursement.

I tried an SLR at one point last year. (My usual saddle was an Arione.) I found the SLR painful. It just fits differently than the Arione does.

The SLR is firmer than the Arione and I prefer it for rides up to 2+ hours. After that, it starts to get uncomfortable. I can ride on the Arione up to 4+ hours without problem but it is not as comfortable as the SLR on the short term.

I have rode a Fizik Arione for 2 years and have been pretty satisfied but recently I bought a SLR T1 on Ebay. I decided to try one after reading the description at Competitive Cyclist.
https://www.competitivecyclist.com/ro...132.233.0.html
"In our minds it's like Selle Italia morphed the SLR with a Flite Genuine Gel. It's a balance of the SLR's weight with the Flite Genuine Gel's focus on comfort. We're astounded with it and it's our prescription for people who seemingly can't find comfort anywhere else. "
I have rode it now for about a week. It definitly has "more padding and less perenium pressure." So far I like it but I still might go back to the Arione some day.
