Gore winter jackets
I am looking for a Gore jacket to keep me cycling through the Chicago winter. I am set on Gore as I have owned a few of their products before and appreciate the durability.
I am looking for the warmest jacket possible, but cannot seem to tell from the Gore website which will be the warmest. If anyone can tell, or better yet if anyone owns a Gore jacket they would recommend for the winter I would be grateful. The Gore website is linked below.
Thanks in advance.

There are 2 types of materials, Gore-tex and Windstopper. Gore-tex is the more expensive product and probably warmer, but not as breathable as they want you to think. I think Windstopper is great stuff for temps into the high 30s. I have Gore-tex gloves and socks for the snow.

I just got the soft shell with the zip-off arms, and I love it for my type of riding. However, I am not dealing with Chicago winters. I am using it for mountain descents. It is generally warm on the way up, and cool on the way down. The soft shell breaths enough for me to do some of the moderate rollers, after a long climb, without burning up, but really helps on the way down.
