Bottle Cages
I need some cages to go with my new bike. I know a lot of people think carbon is a waste of money, but I'm mainly going for something that fits with the bike (bare carbon / black frame). The Aluminum Scwhinn cage I bought a few years ago for $10 doesn't look so great.
If anyone needs to gain some speed (read the last line in the description):
Magic Carbon Cages
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Cateye BC-100?
Also, there is a similar plastic cage at PBK, but I'm confused about their shipping fees. It says that they charge a flat fee for International orders (I am in the US) that seems to equate to about $21. Is this correct?
Edit: Nevermind the shipping question... I just saw the big red link that says "Ordering from the USA?" :

- How much is postage to the USA?
Currently all orders to the USA are free!. Better hurry though, it won't last forever!

I have those Cateye ones. I am not sure of the weight, but they sure beat metal ones. The are made of a soft plastic, so you can pretty much rip your bottle out and the thing just bends. I like them.

They are only 29g according to Cat Eye's site. How long have you had them and do they hold the bottle well / seem durable?

Had them about a year and a half and not a fault. The plastic is good quality, not that hard plastic stuff, so it has always kept its shape.

I tried the Cateye cages last year. A bunch of teammates recommended them and they are cheap and light. But I thought they were junk- the bottles rattled around in them. I had an important race coming up so I splurged on a set of King Ti cages which I have used since.
After removing the Cateye cages I noticed that they were squished around the mounting holes. The cage "backbone" is an inverted U-shape. It looks like if your frames mounting bosses don't stick out a bit and fit up into the inverted U, the mounting screws squash it and the cage deforms. So that might have been why I got different results from my teammates. Something to watch out for if you use them.
The King cages are spiffy and light and work really well but they are not cheap. Their stainless cages also work well (one's on my rain bike) and are inexpensive.

If your bike frame is small and you need to twist your bottle/cage to get the bottle in, then Tacx Tao may not be that great. I killed 3 of them this way. YMMV.

I use the Cateye cages and have for a number of years. They are strong, light, cheap and hold the bottle very well. What else do you want?

Tacx Tao definitely looks nice and a lot of people seem to use them, but I have read several complaints about them getting bent, not holding certain bottles too well and being difficult to insert bottles into depending on your frame. Also, I've read at least one account of the tab below the bottle breaking off.
Maybe I'll order a few of the Prorace Lite Plastic cages from PBK and a few Tacx Taos just to check them out.

I have the Prorace Lightweight Cages on my bikes and they are great. Pretty much the cheapest around and also one of the lightest too (9 grams lighter than Tacx Tao). I had Tacx Tao on a bike I recently bought but my bottles (standard plastic ones) didn't seem to fit the cages properly and nearly fell out when I went over a bump so I took them off and replaced with the Prorace ones. They are only bottle cages...don't need to pay mega bucks for some fancy CF one, not going to effect performance in a race one bit.
