Cool (not cold) weather gloves?
As the weather turns cooler, I notice my fingers are getting chilled and tingly when I wear my short fingered gloves. My winter gloves are rather bulky so I don't want to use them just yet....so I am hoping to find some medium-thickness full fingered gloves, ideally thin on the palmar side of the fingers (for a good feel) but thicker on the backside of the hand for wamth/windbreaker effect.
I am hoping this would be a good glove to wear for temps in the 50's or low 60's.
Anyone have some suggestions?
Doug

I wear the full fingered Specialized gloves when it gets chilly but not cold. I also have some full finger PI gloves when it gets a bit colder and then a pair of Specialized insulated gloves for when it is down right cold.

I use a pair of windstopper gloves, light weight, but just enough to cover the 40-60F range

You Know!? For Kids!
I wear some Louis Garneau full fingers made of windtex that I wear when it is under 50. I also have a pair of very thin Giordana for mild temps (60s or so). If it get a bit cooler (50s), I add a pair of glove liners under them .

Thanks for the tips, I will have to go to the LBS and try some of these....gloves, along with shoes, should probably be bought locally to ensure proper fit.

A pair of thin wool gardening gloves from the hardware store costs about $2.00.

I used up my energy on the team tactics post. lol.
I should have said "mechanix". Like these:
I went with black though. Hides grease better. I actually use them for working on the car - I'm too wimpy to skin my knuckles like a real mechanic.

I got some from the hardware store. They're thin work gloves, and have little "grip dots" all over them. Perfect for those in-between days.... About $3 also

Mini-gloves ($1) under my regular cycling gloves.
Although, this year I decided to pick up a pair of full-fingered gloves from MEC, and I like them too.

I have a pair of Assos ALS insulator gloves on the way so I'll find out how worthy they are next weekend. In the mean time I'm just using some long finger gloves to keep the cold off my hands a tiny bit, doesn't help much but it does prevent instant cracking of skin.

I got these (when they had my size in stock) and they are amazing. The construction quality and materials used are first rate.
