New Bike Poll...
...So I've been riding the same bike (granted, 3 different versions of the same bike). I was a former Specialized Concept Store employee, turned Morgan Hill Special-Nazi and I loved riding my former Tarmac Pro, the SL2 I crashed and wrecked and the SL2 that was given to me by my former employer. Now that I am gone, they kept the bike and I'm rideless. Damn shame.
I've ridden basically a form of the Specialized Tarmac and a Ridley Damocles my whole life. But I'm thinking of branching out. I am also in the maret to build a new SS Cross bike and I like to stick within brands....here's what I have in mind:
Keep in mind all will be complete with FSA kit, SRAM something or other and HED wheels.
SCOTT: Cr1 Pro framset & CX Alloy
RIDLEY: Damocles & Crosswind
FELT: F1-SL
ARGON18: Krypton & Arsenic
I'm open to other brands/bikes. I truly would like your honest advice and opinion. I'm a Cat5 racer but can hang with most of the fast NorCal group/training rides. I'm on the tall side, all legs, 6'2"...180lbs. I actually excel at the long slow climbs and pulling back breaks. Not much of a sprinter.
Have at it, and thanks!!!
