Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like the shot of the rainbow over your bike.

If you find yourself in Waikiki at night, stop in at the Sheraton Waikiki.
Head up to the Hanohano restaurant/lounge at sunset or later. The view's
are very nice.
Is that the one on the beach just down from the Westin Moana Surfrider. I had some good rum at the rum bar down on the beach.

I wish I could have cleaned it up a bit more but all I had to lean the bike against was that concrete pillar.

It's next door to the pink hotel, The Royal Hawaiian.
Yes, it's right on the beach. Also right by the Moana is a place called Duke's.
That place is also nice.

Awesome! I would LOVE to ride there. Last year we took a trip to the 'Big Island' and it was beautiful driving around the island. I can only imagine it being 3x more beautiful on a bike. Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome. Apparently its very cheap to fly to Hawaii right now...like $250 RT from the West Coast and $450 RT from NY.
