Speaking of cats, in about 1988 when I first rode to Hidden Springs Cafe in the local mountains, they had a bunch of cats with extra toes, including the mother who started it all. Here is a pic of the last surviving multi-toed offspring when he was 24 years old, about 3 years ago.

I'm not bored...or snowbound... but in the past 2 weeks my marriage has turned upside down, and all my emotional energy has gone to keeping my kids (and myself) balanced... haven't been on the road in 2 weeks... dropped 10 lbs (which I really can't afford)... and am focusing on simply putting one foot in front of the other.
