Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Let's not get started on a chicken wing conversation...

Speaking of cats, in about 1988 when I first rode to Hidden Springs Cafe in the local mountains, they had a bunch of cats with extra toes, including the mother who started it all. Here is a pic of the last surviving multi-toed offspring when he was 24 years old, about 3 years ago.

Then are you going for a ride? We want you to go for a ride, you know. Well, provided you don't have snow/ice on your roads.

Ride will have to wait for this afternoon; must be productive this morning. A solo, mind-clearing ride. Probably no more than 20-25 miles; stress and not being very well-fueled lately.
