Yup, now you're learning, Canuck.

Not too far off, G. Hell, MI is just a little bit to the west of Detroit. I've heard that it is frozen over.

I rented a room from a friend who eventually became my best man at my wedding. This guy is one of the best cooks I've ever known and could whip up something great from random ingredients. He would try to make anything, from baking to French cuisine. I should have learned from him! Sadly, he's very sick right now and might not be around much longer. He told me on the phone Sunday that he would like to cook one more time for his friends. I hope he can do it, it always made him feel good to see people enjoying his cooking.

True 'nuff. I'll happily cook for anyone if I don't have to clean up afterwards.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. You should make that happen for him. Spend the day helping him cook the meal and then enjoy it together.

Another thing that sucks about getting older is seeing people leave.
I think the rain has stopped, might be time to take the mtb out for some muddy fun.

One of the roads that takes you to Hell, MI is called Darwin Road. Additionally, the road to Hell is not paved with good intentions but rather potholes and chip seal just as some might expect.

Also....feel the need to say that I can cook well. Not a lot of different stuff yet, but I have a natural talent....AND that should count for more because I am happily married and NOT trying to flirt hopelessly in this thread.

It seems that all the roads in Michigan must lead to Hell right now as they are all full of potholes and chip seal.
