Active.com Ripoff
As part of my registration for the ABD Fall Fling bike race, I purchased a 1 year subscription to VeloNews through the Active.com registration process. I did this in the beginning of Sept and have yet to see a copy of VeloNews show up. However, I did get two copies of Bicycling Mag in the mail yesterday. That's like ordering steak and getting dog food. Anyone else have this happen with Active.com? I'm following up with both Active.com and VeloNews but here is some advice...if you want to subscribe to a magazine, don't do it through Active.com!

If they charged your credit card for something that you didn’t receive then protest that charge to Visa (or Mastercharge). I wouldn’t let them get away with it.
Beware when signing up online with active.com of offers of “free” stuff – read the fine print, bearing in mind that they have your credit card number.
