Winter is still 6 days away.
And no, I haven't gained any weight. Have lost weight. Eat less. |
I haven't weighed myself since Thanksgiving, I probably won't weight myself again until a couple weeks into 09, ignorance is bliss
176.5 lbs this morning. Five pounds heavier than I'd like to be for December 15. Ten pounds heavier than race weight.
Frickin' holiday treats! |
can't say, but avoided the scale since a few weeks. it's cold and dark in new york. can't do the trainer (hamster-wheel-syndrome). so yes, 5 pounds for sure.
Getting thiner with my skate skis...these things are on a mission to punish my lungs.
i have gained weight, but it aint fat.. its good to be a newb.
skinnier than I've ever been and I've been off the bike since July
crosstraining is where the real fat loss is at...body gets too adapted to riding |

zero difference, lots of running (when not -20), climbing the stairs in my building otherwise, and a bit of time on the wife's stationary bike...hope to be in a position to drop 5-7lbs before spring..
Yeah, I am up 5lbs.... I just got a trainer, but they are so dull.
Actually loosing. Many reasons!
I took to heart the Perfect Pushup KoolAid and at the same time my gymnast kids yelling to me about proper positioning, keep the belly button in etc. Just a few minutes everyday along with some pullups. My wife also got me into skipping rope because she says according to the Feldenkrais, too much cycling is too much of homolateral muscle use and skipping rope balances it. Got to try what she suggest sometimes so I get some free bodywork from her . So I've been doing a lot of it as well I also got in to this Whey Product with PGX which in I think is just Sat Isabgol or psyllium husk. Anyway really curbed my appetite and I am ending this metabolic reset plan in a couple of days. It was actually given to me by the Natural Factors rep. It seems to work and I feel really good. And of course still cycling. I had a one week break because of a dental surgery, but even that helped because the anti biotics and the recovery just made me loose appetite and therefore a forced caloric deficiency. Most weight loss I had that was not induced by illness or fasting (I did a long one when I was into yoga and easter lifestyles and living in India) Because we are vegetarians, most of the Xmas parties (About 5 times just for work) I cannot really enjoy the game and fowl feasts and sugar for some reason is making my teeth hurt. I think low intensity really works. I've been hammering it out since January (7.2 K miles) and I lost only 1 lb. This past 3 weeks or so almost 8 lbs. I was not overweight to begin with, but that's almost half the weight of my bike. |

Nope! I'm loosing weight. I've dropped about 5 pounds since Thanksgiving. I'm aiming to drop another 5 before Spring. Check my sig. Weight is coming down from 205.
Thankfully I don't even own a scale. But I'm looking marvelous.

Actually ... I was gaining weight, and stopped weighing myself for a couple weeks, but stepped on the scale this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see I've lost 3 lbs!! :D :D
I don't gain weight, it just moves to different parts of the body.
In the fall I always pack on a quick 15 lbs. I jump from 145 to 160 as it helps with my gs times. :D when ski racing is over I drop it back off, its the best of both worlds.
Don't you mean 'get fat(ter)'?
