Anti-Seize compound?
Just installed a Stronglight Fission carbon/Ti crank on my Masi Gran Criterium. Crank came with a small tube of "anti-seize" compound to slather on, as best I could discern from the directions, Ti surfaces that would contact other surfaces (Ti or Alu). What exactly might seize? I used the stuff as directed. Should I have done so?

Yes. Different materials can speed the corrosive process causing them to bond or seize together.

Ti also suffers more than other typical bicycle metals from "galling". Basically, very small bits of one part stick to the other part and pull away. Anti-seize helps prevent that.
