Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Serotta Build Questions (components)

hi all,

i have 2 (dumb) questions about my Serotta build.

the frame is a 2009 CDA with carbon rear stays.

I am using full DA, but not sure if i should use a short cage or a mid cage rear der.

Also, not sure what size band to get for my front der. 28.6? 31.8? 34.9?

thanks in advance for the help....

From: A Coffin Called Earth. or Toronto, ON

Bikes: Bianchi, Miyata, Dahon, Rossin

short cage for regular double
medium cage for compact double or triple.

for the band size, measure the seat tube diameter with callipers, failing that 2x right angle measures.
