I bought my wife a trainer, her Raleigh Detour 4.0 Hybred fits very nice on her cheapy traininer (79.00 bucks) on sale from performace. Actually, SHE set her bike/trainer UP IN MY Great Room while I was at work.
I come in the door and she says :Honey, you have to just deal with this as I am training for GOBA and I NEED to build my miles up" she smiled and kept pedaling.

NOW we have TWO bike in the livingroom and ride together 3 days a week and NOW my 6 YO has he new Specialized Hotrock bike with training wheels set LOW so she can ride with Mommy....

Put your bike in the house :-) She will understand...
