Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Buying new wheelset, any thoughts tubular vs.clincher aero vs.shallow ? What seems to be the norm on shorter road and crit races. I'm leaning towards dura ace c24's. thanks in advance

Most guys I know saw Tubulars are better for crits. That being said, most everything about tubulars-- except for initial cost-- is more expensive.

The norm is a Carbon Aero Clincher. A lot opt for tubular too.

Before I joined I lurked for a long time and actually searched the archives to learn rather than ask the same questions people have been asking (apparently) for years. Imagine that. This is an issue in all public forums, not just BF.
