Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just wondering if others do this.
While reading a thread I look at the names and images before I waste time reading their comments. Some posters that I recognize as being full of it, I blow-off their posts (that's what she said), others that have given good feedback in the past I read. I have two people in mind on both sides that shall remain nameless. Overall this forum has been a huge asset to me since I started road biking last year...and to that end, I thank you.

It's best to ignore any advice I give on racing.

Actually I thought your input on my tub vs clincher question was great.

Darn, I am sorry, I didn't want people to think I thought they were lame. Really I am lame, and just wanted to write "that's what she said". I freakin' love that show. Also, I have had too much coffee today I probably shouldn't be on this forum.

You're assuming that the thread as a whole is worth reading. If it's a "which color bike is faster" thread, does it really matter who is answering? That wouldn't be so much an issue except that half the threads in the Road Cyling forum are more or less that nature.

You're assuming that people that didn't have anything to say that you felt was worthwhile, will never have anything worthwhile to say, which is likely not the case. I know I've said things that others disagreed with, and also said things others felt were useful.

After reading this thread, I have officially placed the OP on the "lame, do not bother to read this drivel" list.

Whatever you do, do NOT read anything I say, or DO what I say to do. Okay?

I hope I'm on at least one of the lists.

That means that someone, somewhere is thinking about something I posted on the Internet.

I pretty much ignore all of you unless your post includes a pic of a hot chick with a bicycle.
