Since the test on the itty bitty master blaster ended in laughing and disappointment. Poor thing wasn't up to 700x32 tires and I'm not a fan of CO2.
Now I also have something to whack a zombie with!
Oh and 2 pbsf Chinese ebay copies!

My brother just donated his 2005 Trek 1.2 to me, with his Cat-Eye computer. I took it to the shop for a much needed tune-up for brake and derailer adjustments. While I was there I picked up some Bontrager Road Race shoes (last year's blue model), and Shimano M520 clipless pedals as well. I'm excited to start getting into longer distance road biking with this bike.

From amazon:
I know they're a roughly 2 year old design, but I need more variety in my closet on a budget. They match the rest of my kit.
From Nashbar:
<---PTFE (teflon?) coated shifter cable

Giro Savant helmet.
My Bell Volt helmet gave itself up in a recent crash. Giro fit much better than a new Volt and I could not justify the cost of the Aeon or Atmos.

The one thing that is extremely important when it comes to helmets is to make sure it fits correctly, and all helmets do not fit the same; in fact I have a long narrow head, none of the helmets mentioned here fit properly, but Lazer makes theirs longer and narrower.
For proper fit of a helmet see this: https://www.nhtsa.gov/people/injury/p.../easystepsweb/ BUT, I'm going to add another step not on that site to make sure it fits right. Read step 6, right after that there should have been a step 7, and step seven would involve the same technique as step 6 ACCEPT it would be doing the same thing from side to side. If you can get a helmet to fit and pass the now 7 steps you have a proper fitting helmet. Most helmets fail in accidents due to improper fit.
