These are the only energy bars I buy, usually keep em for emergencies as they are so tiny.

ISM Adamo Road. I was using a Selle Italia SLR Superflow, but wanted the hook on the back for transition racking.

They were on sale (less 30%) so I got 2. Hope they are better than my PI elites.

I have both PI elites and Performance Ultras. I like the PI Elites, but find them to be shorter than I like. The Performance Ultras are longer, and the chamois is as good as the PI Pro bibs(IMO).

Just picked up two pairs of Louis Garneau sport air bibs, and an Aerotech fatty jersey.

Funny you should say that - I picked up a bunch on chainlove a month or two ago that were on super sale... presumably because of the packaging. They don't taste like EPO though, as far as I know.

- Giro Air Attack shield helmet.
I went out for an early morning ride, first time using the new helmet. Let me begin by saying it really does look like a huge salad bowl over my head. I was contemplating whether or not to take it off and put the Atmos back on but the mrs. said it didn't look that bad. Liar, lol.
The temp was around 78-80F when I started out and the humidity was typical for NYC. I always use a sweatstopper skull cap and wasn't sure if the AA helmet would do enough in venting; so far, its proven me wrong. Once i got moving, I forgot I even had the salad bowl on my head and didn't feel like I was burning up. Tomorrow, is our routine 65-80+ mile ride so I'll see how good this AA helmet is after a couple hours in this heatwave we're having.
Btw, even our doorman who has never said anything negative about my cycling apparel commented on the AA. To no surprise, his exact words were: "it looks like a large bowl, almost like a large salad bowl."
