So this is pretty cool, not a "purchase" but a new "acquired"... Here's the webcam photo I shared in the "cycling hair cut thread", right?
The jersey is the new acquired cycling-related item. A guy from our LA office was in town for two weeks and wanted to participate in my Ride-To-Work thing I was doing. He missed the official day, but I lent him my Kona and rode with him on a different day. I let him keep the bike for the two weeks and today he returned it (he's still new to riding, so just loved having it to do some rides when he had an hour here or there).
So, when he returned it today, before he left, he tossed me this new BMC jersey he found on Ebay. How ******** cool is that. I've been wanting one to go with my new bike, but wouldn't shell the money out for it after the past few jerseys I got before the bike.
Fits perfectly snug and I rocked it today on my easy ride with my sis & wife around town. Pretty ******** happy about the whole damn thing. And to think I almost bailed on letting "some guy" borrow my bike. Nice, eh?

A proper photo of me in my new BMC jersey while showing my sis the studio today... We rode the bikes there:

Deal of the century at only ~20 USD. If I had gotten these at MSRP they would've cost more than my bike.
To replace my horrible platforms and look like less of a Fred riding along in my running shoes

Cold enough to need it several times during winter.

Had a minor spill just today. On the way home I had to replace my water bottle cage.

It was minor. The bike tumbled over as I was taking off. Handlebar turned sideways as I started peddling over some rough road surface. Just happened to hit the water bottle cage at the right angle.

Finally got my Speedplay Zeros today! Too bad I brought the wrong tool to switch cleats. Looks like I'll have to try them out tomorrow or another day.
