Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think payday lending places should be outlawed, it's just a different spin on what services the mafia use to provide!

A floor pump to augment my yellow '80s Silca Pista. It was great when I only had the '86 Ironman on 25s and a StumpJumper. Now with more touring style bikes on higher volume tires, a larger pump helps me keep my heart rate down when getting all the rims off the floor.

snagged two trade team jerseys on the rapha sale, as a pair of bibs. Rode the bibs yesterday. They are really comfortable.

Second set of Look Keo Blade 2 Ti pedals (for the second bike)

4 Veloflex Corsa tires (2-23mm and 2-25mm)

DMT Vega shoes

"Mudflap Girl" socks

back issue of Roleur magazine

...however, I did return the Astute Skycarb SR saddles since they were a real impulse purchase

What's up with that powerbar gels? I tried it yesterday, I liked the taste (dbl latte). Gave me an energy boost as advertised. Then at home, I started having diarrhea.

Sadly, the original owner bought it new and only had it on an indoor trainer, then was diagnosed with cancer and had to sell it. I bought it and didnt ride it much because of my other bikes. Now I will enjoy it more. Will lower the stem more and cut the tube.

Just ordered a Thomson Elite Setback Seatpost for my Lynskey. Came with a nice Ti seatpost, but I need a setback, and Lynskey doesn't make a 31.6 setback. Looking forward to the Thomson, have heard great things.

Put a deposit down on a 2015 S-Works Tarmac frameset (black with white/red accents), which set off a chain reaction of purchases.
One frameset turned into:
-New crankset (S-Works Cranks with sram black chainrings)
-Pedals - changing from Look style to Dura Ace SPD SL, which also necessitated new cleats and cleat covers
-Saddle (S-Works Toupe)
-Cassette - changing from 11-28 to 12-25 ultegra 6800 - completely unnecessary, but I justified it by thinking the new bike needs a new cassette.
-Stem - actually was necessary because the frameset doesn't come with a stem and I'll be selling the old bike (old meaning my 3 month old 2014 Trek Domane 4.0) - went with Zipp Service Course SL Beyond Black

Ho hum, I hate my impulsiveness, is there medication for it?

Oh and can't forget two sets of new gloves because I despise the padding in my current ones. Went with some Giro Zero's and Giro LTZ II's. Also, a K-Edge Chainkeeper. I have found that I like receiving boxes more than I like using the actual purchases.

Haven't received it yet and not sure how Parcelforce works, but ordered an FSA plasma compact handlebar/stem combo for my 2014 Allez sport. Next up is an Enve seatpost as I don't like the FSA seatpost offerings.

Got a Killer deal from my LBS on another pair of Bonts Vaypor +, so i picked them up in white also. Sold my Sworks shoes last night. Excited to get these to replace the Sworks, but was very sad to see the Sworks go. Was such a great shoe, but the Bont's width and shape is so much more comfortable for me.
