Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bought the spousal unit and I some headlights. Our last ride was in total darkness and made my wife nervous. Especially after I spooked a deer and it jumped and then scared my wife.

Works well, as advertised. Saving me the trouble to feverishly pumping or a trip to the gas station.

Shoes are very comfortable and incredibly stiff when compared to my old mid-range Shimanos. Was quite noticeable.

I do have some new Dafeet socks, but not sure what model. Nasty fluro yellow. Doesn't match anything.

Areo bars for my hybrid. Might sound dumb but after 75 miles testing, l wonder how l used to live without them. Now l don't care if they make my bike look like a praying mantis.

A bike fitting to go with the new (to me) bike. Which also meant I bought a new seatpost, handlebars and stem. Now I just need to get lights. And fenders. And more cycling clothing. The list never ends!

Here is the link to what we purchased.
Amazon.com : RioRand 4 Mode 1200 Lumen CREE XML T6 Bulb LED Bicycle bike HeadLight Lamp Flashlight Light Headlamp : Sports & Outdoors

We have only run them about 45 minutes on high so far, but we haven't had any issues with them at all. There are a lot of good reviews there. We rode with them last night, which was the darkest night we have ridden so far and they were great, really lights up the trail we are on which has a lot of trees and no ambient light as we are out in the country on a rail to trail MUP.

I've got a couple of similar units i picked up from Amazon.

Run time on high for mine is around 2 hours... maybe 2.5. on low or medium seems to almost double that.

Diadora X-Vortex MTB Shoes Size 48EU
Endura Gridlock Jacket
Hot Chillys Black Heather Hot Sock

Stuff hasn't arrived yet, should be here Friday. So far I'm running 3 for 3 in sending clothing back that I've ordered online.

I'm hoping the shoes fit as it's the only size they had and they were a good deal. My first pair of biking shoes so I'm not used to the sizing from EU to USA.

I use this lamp for commuting and for Rando. On low beam (which is plenty) I get 12-15 hours of light per charge. I use this light as my primary vision light (i have it pointed at the road to see where I am going). It is not a good lamp for alerting cars that you exist, it is too bright.
