Route sites
Anyone know of a route site like mapmyride.com that can exclude dirt roads? Planned a route last weekend and half of it was on a dirt road with most of it being 7% grade climbing in the mud. Luckily, I was on my touring bike instead of the road bike.

It seemed to me that if you use the "follow the roads" function on mapmyride, it won't follow any unpaved roads (and even some paved ones). That could just depend on the location, though.

If it's a "road" by a map's standard then it's a "road", paved or not, I think. Also, I think mapmyhike.com is using the newest version of the map tool. Mapmyride has a lot of bugs while mapmyhike has solved the issues I've found on mapmyride.

Mapmyride was the one that led me down the dirt road. I'll try the same route on mapmyhike and see if it gives me the same road options.
