Sick Today

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just did 30 miles, now someone just needs to do a quick ride somewhere for 10.

Seems like after 25 years of working for the man, my body would be smart enough to get sick during the week and leave me the weekends. Course, I was sick Thu/Fri... but I still rode my bike to work both days.

I can't give you the mile back, but I will drink 4 post-ride beers for you.

Consider yourself lucky that none of these guys had a crash or you'd have to use a cheese grater on yourself.

I'm suffering from seasonal allergies and have been taking Allegra-D for the last two days. But I rode 40 miles for you this morning, and it was miserable because of the sudafed in the Allegra.

yea i've been sick too and I can't breathe because my throat hurts so bad and my nose is so congested. Also, apparently this cold has made me super weak.. and I'm struggling to keep a steady 15-16mph in my commute. I am not happy!

I've been sick all week - I think todays ride did some good in that I was able to hack up all the crap in my lungs.
I feel so much better after 2.5 hours riding.

110 for me. If I had enough light left I would have gone for the 200K. I was feeling GOOD!

Sorry about you though

That happened to me Monday. Felt great in the morning, did 100 minutes on the trainer and ended up sick for the rest of the week
