Just do it.

itchy

I would do it after the resort. If you're doing it for your first time you're not going to like the feel when you're "resting".

NoGaBiker 03-11-09 10:47 AM

Did he just tell us that he has a hairy butt? ewwww.

As someone who struggles with razor sensitivity in certain areas :innocent:, I'd actually recommend the opposite. Wait until the first morning at the resort to shave, if it's your first time. Assuming you get a good shave, the first 24 hours or so feel smooth as silk. It's the second day when all hell breaks loose. Alternately do it a couple weeks before you go to give your skin a bit of time to calm down after the first shave.

Also, if you're going to do it, I'd strongly recommend two products. One is Coochy shaving cream - it's actually a blend of hair conditioner and shaving lubricants. Slather it on and leave it for a few minutes before you shave so it can soften your hair, saving on some irritation. The other is TendSkin. It's an alcohol based solution, though, and can burn like mad if you're super sensitive, although the burn goes away in just a few seconds. But it works better than anything else I've tried.

Both are available at Amazon.com or Drugstore.com. You can often find Coochy, and sometimes TendSkin at your local porn shop, too.....not that I'd know anything about that :innocent:.

Thank goodness i'm not razor sensitive, because i've been shaving my body completly for many years. My wife just loves the clean look and feel.

Foolish American sarcasm doesn't translate well ;)

Keeping my legs shaved is enough additional maintenance as it is, in my opinion (but I'm obsessive about keeping the legs smooth so I don't feel like sandpaper to the wife)...can't imagine dealing with the whole body. While having no experience in the matter, I'd suggest waxing. IF you decide to go thru with it.

Haha, love the pics, and Old English will make you throw up.:roflmao2:

True... But you don't know her like I do.
Trust me, for my wife this is pretty kinky.
i do

and he's right, for her that is kinky. reminds me of the scene in "the office" where Andy is asking Angela about her sex with Dwight:

Andy: So what position?
Angela: Nothing Fancy
Andy: Missionary?
Angela: I said nothing fancy

It's not my fault you shower with Veet instead of water ;)

wcoastbikr 03-11-09 11:34 AM

If you've never shaved your private areas, you're going to regret it the next day. When those nubs start growing in it's like fireballs and extreme butt pricking.

I wouldn't venture further than the legs for the trip, you may end up miserable. After the trip have a go at it. BTW, I found a girl that thinks the shaved legs are cute and wants to see me do my first race! She's a keeper!

Now what?

Time to turn in your man card dude, sorry. (unless i see you in the pro peloton)

Busta Quad 03-11-09 02:16 PM

Come on, Freddy, we all know Dutch men can't grow body hair, except for maybe Eddy M.

No...one night. The day you shave you'll be fine. The next day and at least a week after you'll probably not want to shave for a long time.

spry 03-11-09 04:54 PM

Sounds like another weekend of plugging the dike,eh Hans?

+1 to the Coochy, only thing the wife and i use.

FLvector 03-11-09 07:00 PM

If your wife is up for this, how can you deny her the pleasure? Just be sure she doesn't knick the wrong area, and if so, be sure to have a styptic pencil to stop the bleeding - ouch. And you'll have something to tell the kids when they get older.:twitchy:

tntyz 03-11-09 07:53 PM

How do you shave the inside of your nose?

I'm going to agree with this. I shaved my legs for the first time a week ago. Today is the first day they haven't itched or burned with pants rubbing on me. Looking at them is even worse. I think that was the last time I do that and I didn't even cut myself at all.:thumb:
