Oh FFS, a stiffer frame is not going to make your sprint x mph faster, or make you climb any faster either. You guys have bought the marketing bull**** hook line and sinker. Now you're in a tussy because some marketing BS doesn't mix well with other marketing BS. Go ride the bikes and choose the one you like, stop worrying about what frame is stiffer or more laterally compliant or climbs better or whatever.
Weight and aerodynamics aside, the only thing that makes you sprint or climb faster is you.

Look
I think you should first figure out if the geometry fits you. The 595 and 586 have slightly different geos, so that's where most people feel the difference. According to Look, the 586 is more climbing specific, but I don't think you'd notice much difference between the 2 on hilly terrain. I do believe that the lugged structure of the 595 will be a more solid, snappier bike. You are fine on the origin, the ultra would be better for a very tall powerfull sprinter on a very large frame where flex maybe an issue. You won't be able to flex any of the frames. I had 2 identical 595s built up, one for hilly races and one for crits:

Your answers sounds a lot like the answers I am getting from LBSs and from those who have had experience with the frames. I highly value a solid and responsive bike. If I go with Look, it will definitely be the 595 origin.
Some have said that they thought the larger sized 595s have a flexy head-tube area, whereas the larger sized 586s have a stiffer front end with a less stiff bottom bracket. But they almost all agree that the 595 is, hands down, the better choice for me because I will be getting the smallest frame, the XS/49. They say that the shorter tubing makes the front end stiffer on the smaller sized 595s than on the larger 595s.
Sounds logical. I will, of course, have to see which fits me best and get a decent test ride on the frame before pulling the trigger.

Look
The black and white was the lighter one built with Campy Record and carbon stem/bar.
I don't have that bike anymore, I couldn't justify having 2 high end bikes. I ride size 56 (Look calls it a large), and this is by far the most solid front end bike I have every ridden.
There are a lot of good options out there thouhg, so don't limit yourself to one brand.

I recently demoed a 595 and 586 on back to back days with the same wheels and tires. The 595 just said 595 (no Ultra writing on it) so I assume it was an Origin, although it was a 2007 model. My impressions, which could be all wrong, were that the 586 provided for a very fast, smooth, little more comfortable ride, but that the 595 provided for snappier, more responsive acceleration. I think I would prefer to race the 595, because I like that snappy acceleration feel. Nonetheless, I know of a couple of very good racers here who race the 586s.

I like the 586 and I love my 595.
Really - give a call to Look USA or post your question in the Look forum on RBR. The Look USA guys post there and answer questions. I dealt a bunch with a guy named Chas and he was extremely helpful in steering me to the standard 595 vs. the Origin as well as helping with sizing. They're going to be able to answer your questions with the right information.
