Converting Speed Play to Mashers?
I saw an adapter for SPD and SPD-SL pedals that all you to pedal using regular shoes. Converts them to WalMart specials.
Has anyone ever seen the same thing for SpeedPlay pedals? Or come up with a slick work around?
I ride with my family once in a while for short distances (Ice Cream run), and I would like to use my good bike instead of literally, my WalMart special.

Are those things for sale yet? Anyone have any experience using them? How easy are they to put on and take off? Any tools required?

I already have a drawing made to make my own from aluminum...(nice to work in a machine shop.)
Mine will require an allen wrench to put on, but still very simple, and they will be anodized to match the bike, plus a bit bigger than those in the pic. Those look a bit "breakable" for a semi-clyde like myself.
