Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Are you glad?

When your post has more than 1 page of replies?
(this could deserve its own posting, but I declined in the interest of noise reduction)

This thread has been on page one for years, and I don't even go there very often anymore. I also haven't found a thread longer than it on any forum.

Almost 6 years, 14,600 pages, and roughly 219,000 posts.

Impressive.

It's like Rice Rocket heaven. I did it because I had a daily driver Lancer that I modded up to do some Solo II autocross racing. Ah, to be young and foolish again. Now I'm just foolish.

As a mod on the other forum, I used to enjoy locking annoying threads. It's worse than trashing them because they die a slow death as they sink to page 2, 3, 4, etc. while nobody can bump to save it.

please no one respond to this thread. It does not deserve a bump.
