Looking for some advice on a new bike
I'm looking to buy an entry level road bike with a maximum price of about $350. All that I really care about is that it is relatively light and has an easy to use shifting system. I would prefer it to have greater than seven speeds, and would like it to be pretty comfortable. Im getting it only for casual biking around my town, and don't expect to be doing anything more than 15-20 miles on it in once sitting and even that would be a stretch. I'm looking for a good deal on a pretty cheap bike, and since I know basically nothing about bikes i figure i should ask people who do. I'm a 5'8" 18 year old who probably wont be growing all that much more if that helps at all.
If this is in the wrong section feel free to move it, thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not exactly clear what you're looking for but, it will be difficult to find a decent new bike for that price. Typically, really inexpensive bikes are quite heavy and their components are poor quality. If you must have new, try BikesDirect. They have the best prices I know of. Were I you, I'd shop for used or build the bike you want from eBay and Craig's List frame and components. Good luck. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Yeah i was looking at this https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/...ington1_IX.htm on Bikes direct.
Im not looking for anything super light, i just want something in that price range that will be light compared to most other bikes in the same range. Im not looking for anything special at all just a cheap bike that will get the job done.

Bikesdirect isn't too bad. It would be difficult to beat their prices for what you get. I bought my trail bike from them and its quite a nice bike for $400.
