Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, I see...
I thought you meant WHICH bike was the ultimate Fred rig...in that case, Madone.

As for the Time pictured, It's loud and ostentatious, but badass at the same time.

Anyone whose doesn't ride the Tour de France and spends that on a bike is unequivocally a Fred.

Only people who should have a bike costing that much is a pro that doesn't have to pay for it.

Who makes that bike?

Why did you go with the standard cable housing? Why not Red Nokons.

NO WAY!!! didn't you know the more brand names you have on the bike the fasterzzzz you go!!!

Just look at all those riced out honduz you see, each sticker is worth +5 HP unless it's an obscure JDM brand in which it is +10 hp!!!

Pista Palcae is my local shop. Really great guys. They are the ones that dropped a couple hundred $ off my caad9 purchase. Ernesto Colnago was there a couple weeks back for the little Italy grand fondo and personally signed a couple colnagos for the owner and gave high regards to that shop. The owner has been racing those "fred" bikes for years now. Next time your in SD drop me a line and ill take you too the shop so you can personally express how fred you think they are.

That is from my old shop i used to race for.

....Justin, the guy that owns the bike is an avid racer and the owner/team manager of 5 Star racing here in Southern California.

So...although the name is a bit cheesy the bike/shop/owner are legit...He has quite a nice quiver of bikes and the shop is a cool little place to go and hang out.

Explain why the Madone is a fred bike... What's wrong with an American riding and American bike? I'll never understand you crazy Italian wanna-bes. Go watch Breaking Away, and don't forget your lotion.

The Madone doesn't have enough logos. Two giant ones per tube minimum or it's a Fred bike.
