Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I can be helpful

I stopped in the middle of an interval to help two stranded cyclists with their flat tire.

Empowering them in their ineptitude is not being helpful. Yelling at them whilst arm-flapping would do more for their long-term survival.

He did stop his intervals for two OBVIOUS Freds. The guys a saint. Do realize that one act may have limited his podium potential.

Ok so one had a flat and the other was calling on her phone for help. Only one was stranded, the other just didn't know what to do. I was just trying to be concise.

Just thought I'd inject a little anti-roadies-are-aholes sentiment into the bikeforumsverse.
