Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Speedo

Are there any wireless speedometers that gauge MPH instead of KMH?

Just about all that are sold in the US can switch between kph and mph.

My mom bought a CatEye system for her bike, and it claimed to switch to MPH, but no matter what we did, it would stay as KMH. Which one would you guys recommend?

Wrong forum. This should be in triathlon... oh, wrong type of speedo.

all cateye computers should switch to mph, if it still won't switch, it's broken.
try taking it to a shop, they program lots of computers.

I would recommend that you learn how to read the instructions for the one you already bought. Failing that, tell us which model and I'm sure somebody here can tell you how to do it.

When I set up my Cateye Strada Cadence, I had to select between mph and kph during the initial setup/calibration. You might try a hard reset, then go through the setup again. The instructions will definitely tell you how to do it. If you don't have the originals, download them from the internet somewhere. I'm sure they have them on the Cateye site.

It is for my mom's bike, and she doesn't really ride that much anymore. She won't give it to me though Besides, I want a wireless one

That doesn't really make very much sense.

Bikes: TBL Onyx Pro(ss converted), Pake SS (starting to look kinda pimped)

....til you meet them, then it becomes painfully clear.
Just about every model out there should be able to display both MPH and KPH

I wasn't putting you down, just an observation. You are acting like a little kid. You asked for which models display mph instead of kph and we told you all of them. You said yours claimed to but doesn't and I said if you tell us which model it is somebody can tell you how to do it. You replied that you'd rather just get a new one.

Yes, but I said we could show you how to figure out how to change that one. If you understood how to change it then you would see that pretty much any would work.
