Oh. we're talking about a new bike ? I was wondering what my pointless reply was about.

YOJiMBO20 04-27-09 12:03 AM

Are you going to be like pcad and post this picture every chance you get for the next four weeks?

are your parents going to throw you out or raise your rent?

ridethecliche 04-27-09 12:20 AM

Dude, so not your bike.

You're not getting a SS with a hollowgram SI SRM are you?

Hawt bike nonetheless. A friend has one, and hasn't said anything but awesome things about it :)

Haha, they aren't too "into" me purchasing a new bike, but I pay them rent, I take care of myself, so what can they do haha. I'm just glad I'm getting to take care of this purchase before I move back out this winter.

Yes, yes I am.

fatallightning 04-27-09 12:40 AM

Rue? I have some money burning a hole in my pocket. I'm going to be a good boy and see if any killer deals come up at the big swap meet at T-town in 2 weeeks. Gratulations on your ride though.

Randochap 04-27-09 12:40 AM

Are you going to do it naturally?

Brandy 04-27-09 08:11 AM

I so feel your pain. I'm waiting for my new baby Cannondale too. Unfortunately, I don't have an exact due date yet...just sometime in May.

people still use lay-away?

last huge purchase i made for myself i just applied for a zero % APR for 60 month credit card and bought it, but then again, i'm an instant gratification *****.

edit: it will probably be more enjoyable riding a bike that is totally yours, good choice.

enjoi07 04-27-09 09:20 AM

nice....check my sig nick...i know you'll just love it!;) i sure like yours...man i was on some good cold medicine that day.

MIN 04-27-09 09:30 AM

what is this archaic barter system known as layaway?

merlinextraligh 04-27-09 09:36 AM

^ an absurd system where you give someone the free use of your money for a period of time, in exchange for the right to buy an item at the end of the period for a price at which the item would have been availble anyway.

Unless they don't make it anymore and this is the last one in the store, so I'm just securing a bike that could get sold and then I'd be stuck hunting.

I had the opportunity to do a 0% for 90 days credit car but decided that with layaway if I something bad happened I could back out of the sale no harm no foul. I don't like being in debt, the job market is shaky and my car has been breaking down randomly. I can have the cash to pay off 90% and put it on my card in 4 weeks, but if I have an emergency expensive I have till the end of July to get it which is more than enough time.

I just know my luck, if I went in today and put it on my credit card my car's differential would break, my company would cut me or I'd need to get an alien ass slug removed and it wouldn't be covered by my insurance. :twitchy: It's just Murphy's law!
