Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

and so whats the difference?

Whats the difference in GP4000(black) and GP4000s other than the big silver block letter?
https://www.conti-online.com/generato...p4000S_en.html
https://www.conti-online.com/generato...gp4000_en.html
https://www.conti-online.com/generato...kchili_en.html

They are both 3 plies/ 330 tpi + Vectran Breaker and both tyres feature the black chilli
So whats the difference?

Any review on both? Would like to hear users who had used both GP4000(black) and GP4000s, a comparison would be welcome.

According to this test, the 's' version has been a good improvement in rolling resistance:

click on 'AFM tire testing rev8.pdf'

Continenals clinchers have had a deserved reputation for being hard-ish (unsupple), durable, and a bit slow, but they might've done something right with this one

Four watts is a lot just for a tyre. A Zipp 404 cuts only about 8 to 10 watts over a 28-spoke Deep V.
