Fantastic! You can plug in your zip code and provider into their website to find out what channel it's on. In S.F. (on the Peninsula anyway) it's 187.

You are correct. My customer service rep said they have had quite a few calls about it and asked me to send an email requesting it, so I did and now we wait. She said they have Universal channel, but not Universal Sports - but thought if they had enough demand, they might be able to get fairly quickly.

I just have digital TV with my antenna, its channel 11.3 Universal Sports for me. 11.2 is weather, 11 is regular NBC.

I am pretty sure it is NBCs version of VS. I don't have cable and I just got a digital tuner and this channel just showed up as we programmed the thing. They have x-country skiing, Olympic sports, marathons, Ironman, cycling, etc,. I watched cyclocross in Belgium a couple weeks ago.
EDIT: Reading down I get the idea. It's the digital broadcast. I wonder how many channels are available in outer queens. I had several broadcast stations in Brooklyn (2 miles from the city), but only 1 came in clear in Forest Hills.

I found out its on broadcast tv on digital channel 4.4 in So Cal. so I went to home depot and bought an indoor antenna and it works! Think I will put a outdoor ant. up next to my dish to get this and other free channels.
