Cox.net hasn't updated the Universal schedule yet so I plugged the RAI coverage into the DVD.

Universal Sports says on their website that coverage begins at 830 for the TT....However my "guide" on the TV doesn't list it...it's got some Cyclocross race at 9. WTF??

The WMV for QT plugin(s) is blowing up all browsers on my Mac. They're recommending Safari, but it's doing the same thing as Firefox.
I've had this problem before with Cycling.tv and fixed it by jacking around with browser plugins. Anybody on a Mac know the sure-fire fix?

Universal you can get online. They did the entire World Cup ski season. Awesome. If you get the feeds early enough, they come in raw without commentary or editing. If you get them later they come in edited and with commentary from whoever purchased the feed in your general local.
See
https://www.universalsports.com/
Giro specific coverage
https://www.universalsports.com/Sport...4&SPSID=105618
BTW the quality of the feeds isn't HD, but we watched many an event at 5am (EST) on our 23" iMac in full screen mode, just about live, and the quality was very good.

Sadly, I cannot get the live stream to work. I've tried with two different browsers (IE7 and FireFox 3). In both, the first "intro" clip runs, but the live stream never starts.
Whoops...it's trying to start now, but very glitchy. Might be the network here at work (it's much more reliable at home).

You could get copies of the tapes sent by Canada Post. You might receive them by next years race.
