Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bianchi Eros - first road bike

Hey everybody, I got this bike from my brother in law about a month ago and since then I've been hooked. I had to degrease about 3 years worth of filth, lube it up, put some fresh bar tape on, get the on board computer working again, and just installed a new Fizik Aliante saddle. It's riding smooth now.
So here comes the obligatory newb questions....

1. I can't figure out the year of the model. He purchased it used off Ebay in 2004 (I think.) I have pics of the dirty undercarriage and bar code if that helps. Apparently Bianchi's are notoriously difficult to identify from their codes?
2. I'm about 6'1 with 32 inch inseam, this is a 56cm bike and it feels alright for the most part. Would I notice a huge difference if I were to ride a 58cm bike?

Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. It's all stock with campy components except the new saddle and some PD-7701 shimano pedals which are apparently really difficult to get cleats for. Thanks guys.

It's probably on the small side, but sizing a bike by "inseam" (is that your pants size or leg length?) is sketchy at best.

Ride it until you decide whether this sport is for you.

Length. Well it's not like I'm racing or anything. I have just been enjoying doing 20-30 mile rides every other day or so. I do a lot of sports so this is just another one to keep me busy and healthy.

Thanks for the responses guys.
