Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Started with me shaving my face
Got into cycling so I shaved my legs
Hated how my body looked with just shaved legs so I shaved my arms and chest

I hate body hair now....Though having a full head of hair is a plus I dont think I want to get rid of anytime soon.

The only thing I shave other than my face is my armpits. I don't like how my armpits feel with a pit full of hair and the jersey being so tight. It also helps prevent anti-perspirant buildup. Do what you want and feels good to you.

We were on the Indianapolis 500 track for Tour de Cure. We had a large paceline going at 25mph for much of the ride.

That sounds fun... although 25mph for much of the ride should be closer to 4 hours...

I shave my arms cause they get really hairy... I hate it when sweat gets trapped in the hair. When shaved... sweat just wicks off. Plus it really does look better with shaved legs. I "clipper" my chest hair shorter as well... but don't shave it. Too much hassle. Plus, my wife wont let me go back to hairy now anyway.

Seems to me that most women like a hairy chest. Don't shave the chest.

I started shaving my legs after much prompting from my SO (I need to stop calling her the GF because we have been together to long) She much prefers the lack of hair. I have no need to shave the chest and I am blond and my arm hair is relatively unobtrusive.

Where would your information come from? I don't "know" for sure one way or the other but heard a poll on a segment on the radio the other day that suggested otherwise. It actually said "most", forget the actual percentage, women prefer little to no hair on the chest among other areas. It seems that "manscaping" is in. I had started shaving my chest well before I ever shaved my legs but have never had any reason to shave my arms. I guess to each there own?!

The problem with the chest is the upkeep more so than other areas. Chest being scratchy is more bothersome to her than legs...

I do chest, legs, cut the arm pit hair, and of course my face. I don't do my arms because I always wear pants, so it looks like I'm not shaven
