Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Call me paranoid but that's my routine also, in fact I grab a paper towel for the faucet handle and if not automated the toilet or urinal handle.

Urine is a very inhospitable place for most bacteria. Acidity and toxin levels prohibit successful growth. You are more likely to have infection in just about any other media then you would urine. Don't let the color similarities between LB and urine trick you.

As for the "sitting around," pretty much anything will become unsterile after a period of time, even lytic reagents. There is a reason you have to autoclave things and not just spray them with some lysol.

Thank you, rooftest. I was wondering the same thing. This thread is just weird from the first letter.
